“Empower to Educate… Inspire for Life…”
Holy Cross Training Centre offers a one-year Nursery Teacher Training programme that joins academic depth with real classroom practice — preparing young women to guide, mentor and nurture the earliest years of a child’s learning.
Holy Cross Nursery Teachers Training Institute is owned and managed by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, an international religious congregation founded in Switzerland in 1856 by Fr. Theodosius Florentini, OFM Cap. and Mother Maria Theresa Scherer.
Inspired by the congregation’s motto — “The Need of the Time is the Will of God” — the Sisters of the Mid-India Province established this institute at Holy Cross School, Lalkhadan, in the academic year 2018, to answer the growing demand for qualified pre-primary educators and to empower young women who cannot otherwise pursue higher education.
Every element of our programme is designed to build a teacher who is knowledgeable, compassionate, innovative and committed to excellence.

High quality education can be imparted to children through specialised teaching skills, especially to young minds. We serve society by providing a high quality training programme for pre-primary and nursery teachers, so that they may enhance their skills and better support children’s learning and development.
Vision
To form fully developed young women of character who will be responsible and committed to the cause of humanity.
Mission
Students will distinguish themselves by academic excellence and sound moral, spiritual and social values with holistic growth — builders of a just and eco-friendly society where all religions are respected.
Education is the cornerstone of a progressive society, and the foundation of education is laid during the early years of a child’s life. The responsibility of a pre-primary teacher extends far beyond classroom instruction — a teacher becomes a guide, mentor, role model and nurturer. Principal, Holy Cross Training Centre
